photo1It’s funny to look back on where music has brought me. I love listening to lyricists like Logic, then resorting to Portugal as a come down, and waking up to some old school Kanye on the daily. The world of music I’ve grown up in has always been a far away planet, but now I see it turning into home.

I remember coming home late one night and seeing him in the backyard filming a music video that was anything but settling. Obviously, I was immediately interested. His name is Tac XII.

My boy Marcus has been on his grind with him, and Marcus was there in the beginning of Brightside, so I trust his intentions. Today we are treated to Tac’s new tape, a self-titled project inspired by 9th Wonder’s 2012 “Tutankhamen”, with a whole lot of attitude and enough authenticity to fill Brazil’s futbol stadiums.

Take a listen to his new tape in the headphones above, and let the world know you’ve heard some new music below.
