Fresh off of what has become a nationally celebrated holiday, Clockwork and Treejay released a 4/20 themed mixtape, Home N Stoned. The mixtape itself features a handful of unknown artists alongside some bigger names in hip-hop. One of those names just so happens to be Mac Miller and one of his contributions, “Walking Home” is a hands down highlight of the tape. The boom-bap feel of the track showcases the evolved style of Mac Miller into a respectable lyricist that continues to show us a much more serious side of the Pittsburgh native. Mac paints a picture of the thoughts flying through his mind on a hazy Sunday afternoon while he celebrates what we assume is his favorite holiday of the year. Just how we like to see Mac Miller: no bullshit, no gimmicks. Enjoy.
