often-lidoIt’s been a few months since we last mentioned Lido on Brightside, but that doesn’t mean we haven’t been keeping tabs on the goodness the guy has been putting out. The Norwegian producer’s latest, a remix to The Weeknd‘s “Often”, is an infectious and uptempo version of the original. Beginning with some rubbery synths that we’d usually find in a lot of today’s house music, the song quickly transforms into an incredibly original future bass tune that shows just why the subgenre is one of the most exciting and innovative music scenes today. Lido’s experimental and unique touch on this track further showcases his ability to cultivate creativity as an electronic music producer as he incorporates several subgenres and demonstrates that his sounds simply have no boundaries.
